Cassie Reese

Cassie joined the Emerge team in 2017. Laura Lee says, "She is one of our everythings!"   From booking appointments and other administrative work, to greeting clients, to manning the boutique & gallery, to laundry, etc. She does a bit of everything. She grew up in Wellsboro. She has been working as a receptionist in salons for 3 years now. Cassie enjoys riding horses in her free time and competing. She is also a Equine Sports Massage Therapist!


Nakita Williams

Nakita was trained at the Aveda Institute in Philly in 2014 in both cosmetology and esthetics. She has gained some impressive experience in high end Aveda Salons in State College, PA and in Corning, NY. Nakita has strengthened her skills studying with Tigi, Tony & Guy, and Aveda. Her love for cut and styling, balayage, updo's, braids, and unique color formulation brings an exciting talent to our Emerge customers since 2017. From gray coverage to edgy fashion cuts and colors, Nakita has a wonderful skill set, a passionate personality, and extensive knowledge. She is a go getter, a passionate advocate of life and has acquired some great wisdom on her journey with Lymes disease. Nakita is delighted to give Wellsboro a new salon experience!


Kerri Shughart

Kerri completed cosmetology school in 2017 from Barone Beauty Academy and Empire Beauty School and has been around the beauty industry even longer helping at her family’s salon.  She joined our Emerge Team in 2017. Kerri received additional training from Aveda and is always striving to learn the latests trends in her beauty services.  She strives for greatness and it shows.  With her sweet disposition and obvious devotion to customer satisfaction, and strong work ethics you are in for a treat.  Kerri’s attention to detail whether at her nail station, receiving hair services or getting waxing or tinting is a top notch, pampered experience! Kerri has a young son and enjoys singing.


Stacey Judge

Stacey is trained as both a massage therapist(2007) and an esthetician (2009) and has a vast array of experience from Medi Spa to Hershey Hotel Resort Spa.  Her relaxing massages are like a wonderful trance taking you to another world of renewal, and her facials are exquisite. She joined the Emerge team in 2017. Her expertise and experience are a rare gem and are sure to keep you coming back. Her playful sense of humor, magical touch, and willingness to jump in are true treasures.  She enjoys pampering clients, being outside, hiking with her dogs, kayaking, and riding motorcycles with her honey.


Mary Love Seymour

Mary began her career as a massage therapist in 2007 in Ithaca, NY at the Finger Lakes School of Massage. After graduating, she returned to her hometown of Mansfield, PA to begin her massage practice. She has been with our Emerge team since our beginning in 2012.  Although she practices multiple styles of massage including Swedish, hot stones, and stretching, her favorite type of work is deep tissue massage.  Mary is also a birth doula. She loves helping bring new life into the world.  When not at work, she enjoys frolicking with her dogs, enjoying the outdoors, catching the sunset, and stargazing.


Jesse Robinson

Jesse graduated from Mansfield University in 2009 with a BS in Computer Science.  After having spent a few years as a computer programmer in the IT and Web worlds, he took time off to cast his sails towards his own endeavors and joined his wife and daughter for six months in India while his wife attended Hata Yoga teacher training. After coming home he decided to pursue his education at the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca in 2013 and has joined the family business at Emerge.  

Jesse splits his time as a massage therapist at Emerge with being an innkeeper at the family bed & breakfast, La Belle Auberge B&B in Wellsboro, PA. He is also the self anointed CTO of Emerge, handling everything computer and IT related. He has a growing hobby passion for cinematography and video equipment and enjoys documenting his family’s adventures.


Hannah Markell

Hannah Markell graduated in 2017 from the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, New York. She has trained in different styles of massage and loves Swedish, Myofascial release, Essential oils, and Hydrotherapy. Growing up in a family that is very health conscious, she was nine when she decided that she wanted to become a massage therapist. She has been studying massage and homeopathic lifestyles since then, and wants to continue her education so she can share her knowledge with others. She is raising her two daughters and in her spare time and loves to sing and play guitar.


Laura Lee Robinson

Laura Lee Robinson artist, yogi, massage therapist, esthetician, birth doula, and lover of life opened Emerge Healing Arts & Spa in April of 2012. Driven by her desire to make a difference and create a space for people to be empowered with tools for holistic health, Laura Lee's long time dream she feels has come to a beautiful stage of fruition. Stating, "I am grateful everyday that I am able to do what I love". She finds great joy gardening, dancing, being a momma, throwing pots, striving as a yogi, and savoring life’s sweet moments. Her creative, integration of her skills and passions has culminated as Emerge Healing Arts and Spa where a vast scope of services influenced by her various walks of life are offered.
