How it works
Our sauna uses gentle infrared heat to warm the body and promote sweating at a comfortable temperature. Far infrared saunas heat your body directly using infrared light. They emit the same wavelength the sun emits without the damaging ultraviolet wavelengths that can cause skin cancer. Far infrared penetrates further into the body and muscle tissue. Sessions are designed to help your body relax while supporting circulation and recovery.
We have a set temperature of 125 when you arrive but turn it up to 135 when you first get in to gradually acclimate your system to the rising heat. You can adjust the temperature to your comfort and crack the door if you get too hot. When getting out of the sauna, we provide some wet towels to wipe down. If the shower is not being used for other spa services you can add a shower for a $5 add on. Honor your body if you find you are getting too warm, cool down. Building your tolerance up to the heat can be very beneficial with regular use. Our full spectrum infrared saunas are proven to be most effective for emitting high concentrations of infrared waves. What to Expect
Session Length: 30 - 45 minutes
What to Wear?
Upon arrival you will be provided with a light robe you can wear into the sauna. We have lockers to store your valuables and clothing. Your sauna experience is a private space and is not shared unless booked as a couples service.
How often should I use the infrared sauna?
One session will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Similar to exercise, the more you do it, the better the results. Sauna sessions can be enjoyed daily or as frequently as desired as a part of a healthy wellness routine. Sweating will gradually increase with regular use. Drinking water prior to your session is essential.
We don’t recommend taking your cell phone into the sauna.
Important steps After sauna:
